READING ENGLAND 2016

This challenge is hosted by Behold the Stars.
Challenge period: 1st January to 31st December, 2016
Sign up: Anytime during the year

Everything you need to know is on the Reading England 2016 challenge page.

The challenge is a little different this year as there are two options. You can do either or both. I've chosen to do both.

Challenge #1

The Goal: To travel England by reading, and read at least one book per however many counties of England you decide to read.

The Levels: Level One (1-3 counties), Level Two (4-6 counties), Level Three (7-12 counties) and Level Four (12+ counties)

Last year I opted for Level Four (12+ counties) and failed to complete the challenge. So this year I am going to start off at a lower level, Level One (1 - 3 counties).

My Counties and Novels

Here is my list of counties and novels to be read in no particular order

Lincolnshire

John Marchmont's Legacy by Mary Elizabeth Braddon

Norfolk

The Go-Between by L.P. Hartley

Suffolk

The Black Arrow: A Tale of Two Roses by Robert Louis Stevenson

Challenge #2

The Goal: To read as many books as you wish from just one county.

The Levels: Level One (1-3 books), Level Two (4-6 books), Level Three (7-12 books) and Level Four (12+ books)

I've chosen Yorkshire as that is the county where I was born, Level One (1-3 books). Not sure what I will read, but I have listed a few books from which I can choose my three.

Eugene Aram by Edward Bulwer-Lytton
The Rose in Splendour by Leslie Barringer
The Nonesuch by Georgette Heyer
Mary Anerley: A Yorkshire Tale by R.D. Blackmore
Nicholas Nickelby by Charles Dickens
Windyridge: A Classic Yorkshire Novel by Willie Riley
Inheritance by Phyllis Bentley
