Madly signing up for challenges and making lists of which books to read, I realised for some of the challenges, where allowed, I had listed quite a few re-reads. So I stopped to wonder if there was a re-read challenge out there somewhere and happily the answer is  YES!

The aim of the challenge is to remember what a book was like the first time around and see how much fun it is to re-read an old favourite.

Writing a review is optional, but the hosts have come up with five questions to answer, making a re-read review quick and easy:
  • WHEN I first read
  • WHAT I remember
  • WHY I wanted to re-read
  • HOW I felt after re-reading
  • WOULD I re-read again
All the details about the challenge and how to participate are here.

Here are some of the books I plan to re-read:

01. KATHERINE by Anya Seton
02. THE BLACK MOTH by Georgette Heyer
03. THE FOXES OF HARROW by Frank Yerby
04. ZEMINDAR by Valerie Fitzgerald
05. THE TRUMPET MAJOR byThomas Hardy
06. TO DANCE WITH KINGS by Rosalind Laker
07. UNDER THE RED ROBE by Stanley J. Weyman
08. VANITY FAIR by William Makepeace Thackery
09. THE DEATH OF LYNDON WILDER AND THE CONSEQUENCES THERE OF by E.A. Dineley
10. THE DARK DREAM by Lilly Sommers
