AUSSIE AUTHOR CHALLENGE 2016

This challenge is hosted by Book Lover Reviews
Challenge period: 1st January to 31st December, 2016
Sign Up: Anytime during the year

The aim of this challenge is to promote the work of Australian authors, male and female.

All the information and how to join is here on the sign-up page.

There are three levels to choose from:

WALLABY
  • Read and review three titles written by Australian authors, of which at least one of those authors are female, at least one of those authors are male, and at least one of those authors are new to you;
  • Fiction or non-fiction, any genre.
WALLAROO
  •  Read and review six titles written by Australian authors, of which at least two of those authors are female, at least two of those authors are male, and at least two of those authors are new to you;
  • Fiction or non-fiction, at least two genres.
KANGAROO
  • Read and review 12 titles written by Australian authors, of which at least four of those authors are female, at least four of those authors are male, and at least four of those authors are new to you.
  • Fiction or non-fiction, at least three genres.

Last year I opted for Wallaroo and didn't complete the challenge. So this year I've decided that Wallaby will be my level of participation.

These are the three books I've nominated to read and review:

The Mind's Own Place by Ian Reid
The Lake House by Kate Morton
The Narrative of Deserter Burman by Greg Pyers

Kate Morton is one of my favourite authors. Ian Reid and Greg Pyers are authors new to me.
